Description
Learn how to fit and customise the cranial prosthesis hair system for clients who are not suitable for hair integration systems due to having very little or no hair to integrate. The cranial prosthesis hair systems can be used for partial or complete hair loss.
Cranial prosthesis – also known as medical wigs – are ideal for women with large bald areas due to alopecia aerate, balding patches all over the scalp and women with no hair at all due to cancer, alopecia totalis and alopecia universalis.
We use custom-designed hair systems that are constructed with a special membrane to replicate the human skin. The systems are fitted with a line of specialist products which are kind to the skin and suitable for daily wear.
The cranial prosthesis gives a full and realistic hairline and an undetectable finish. If the client has hair loss to frontal, recession and crown, or full hair loss this is the ideal systems. The hair systems can be cut down to required size but are typically made to measure and classed as medical wigs.
